Abstract
Sensor technology efficiently covers not only all aspects of life which includes safe, secure, and smart system implementation but also industrial applications that majorly include process control and automation with safe environment. These sensors need to be connected to the computer system for data acquisition and control. Single-board computers have changed the computing world with their minimalistic design and great performance. Raspberry Pi is a powerhouse of performance in a miniaturized world. Digital and analog sensors can be interfaced with it through effective programming. In proposed work, Raspberry Pi uses python programming to interface with any possible hardware expansion compatible with the device. Digital sensors can be directly interfaced with the Raspberry Pi but unavailability of analog I/O pins needs to connect ADC expansion board additionally. All the required libraries are to be installed for working out the integration of the hardware. IR sensor, ultrasonic sensor, potentiometer, and LDR were interfaced with the computer system with the help of python scripting programming. The 4D display, AMLCD panel was used for displaying the output with custom GUI and for easier interpretation of the output data.
