Abstract

Photostimulated luminescence (PSL) phenomenon is based on the presence of electron and/or hole traps and luminescence centers in storage phosphor materi als. During exposure to electromagnetic waves such as X-ray, ultraviolet (UV)-ray and visible-ray, the traps are occupied with charged carriers such as electrons and holes that are induced by the electromagnetic wave RESULTS AND DISCUSSION irradiation.
