Abstract

Abstract-the single phase brushless DC (BLDC) motor is widely used in the automotive air conditioning systems with its high efficiency and low cost. With the EV system demand, higher requirements are put forward in aspects of efficiency, vibration and noise. To obtain high optimal operational performance, a novel vector control mothed of single phase BLDC is proposed based on usual platform. In this paper, the constructing of a virtual phase current is deduced to constitute the basis of vector control. The root locus method is employed to analyze the stability of this mentioned method. Finally, some experimental results confirmed the validity of the proposed method in improving the dynamic performance and reducing the torque ripple.
