Abstract

A stationary process subjected to a Linear Periodically Time-Varying (LPTV) transformation becomes cyclostationary. In this article, we use a particular continuous-series representation of this output process to compute its spectrum and verify its cyclostationarity. We then prove that Periodic Clock Changes (PCC) are a particular case of the LPTV transformation. A method of linear reconstruction for any LPTV filtering is then introduced. We apply it to scramble stationary processes. It corresponds to an unconventional case of spread spectrum.KeywordsImpulse ResponseSpread SpectrumLinear ReconstructionSpread Spectrum CommunicationLinear Periodic SystemThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
