Abstract
In this article, a novel adaptive distributed secondary voltage controller for islanded microgrids (MGs) is proposed. Uncertainties/disturbances are essential factors that can influence the stability of an MG. Unlike previous methods, uncertainties are implicitly embedded by the Lue'r type system in the MG model. The proposed controller is based on a novel consensus protocol and a new control law that has a higher convergence rate than the traditional consensus protocol and its performance is quite satisfactory under large uncertainties. Different simulations are performed in MATLAB/SimPower Toolbox on a typical six-distributed generator MG and under various disturbances. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed controller. Generally speaking, the proposed controller increases the resiliency of MGs.
