Abstract
In this paper, we establish some results for the stability and the boundedness of solutions of non-autonomous differential equations of second order with a variable deviating argument. We make a comparison between a stability result verified via fixed points and the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional approach, and we discuss the uniform stability and the boundedness of solutions. An example is given to illustrate the feasibility of the proposed results.
