Abstract
In the present note, we provide a general family of link operators, preserving linear function and contains many well-known operators viz. Durrmeyer type, hybrid and discrete operators as special cases. The main aim of the present note is to prevent the researchers to study individual operators, and by this form they can study the approximation properties of only one operator. In the end we provide quantitative difference estimates between these operators with discrete operators from which one can obtain difference estimates of many operators by just assigning values to the parameters involved in the operators.
