Abstract
A separable non-local potential is used to calculate the ground state properties of the deuteron. Relativistic correction to the deuteron magnetic moment has been taken into account. The value of the deuteron magnetic moment obtained with the above potential is compared with that given by SM and GT potentials. It is found that the non-local potential gives better agreement between the calculated and the experimental values than the local potentials.
