Abstract

1. The reaction of tetrafluorohydrazine with vinylidene fluoride and trifluoroethylene in the presence of potassium fluoride gave difluoroaminodifluoroacetonitrile and the N-fluoroiminylfluoride of difluoroaminodifluoroacetic acid, respectively. 2. The nitrile and N-fluoroiminylfluoride of difluoroaminodifluoroacetic acid are transformed into the methyl ester of this acid under the influence of methanol and sulfuric acid.
