Abstract
Amphorophora tuberculata sp. nov. is described from Geranium macrorrhizum L. in Britain. It is specific to this host plant which is native to montane regions of central and southern Europe. All morphs are described. This species has the lowest possible chromosome number, 2n(♀)=4.
