It is the first record of the genus Synapion for Republic of Khakassia. Pseudopiezotrachelus corvinum (Faust, 1889), comb. n. is transferred from the genus Synapion of the tribe Apionini to the genus Pseudopiezotrachelus Wagner, 1907 of the tribe Piezotrachelini.
