Abstract
Manning (1966) in his examination of Australian stomatopods described a new genus Hadrosquilla which ranges from South Australia around the coast t? New South Wales. While engaged in a study of the functional morphology of a number of species of Australian stomatopods, I obtained a new species of Hadrosquilla from the gut of the flounder Pseudorhombus arsius (Hamilton Buchanan). The good condition of the specimen and the characteristic dif ferences to H. perpasta (Hale, 1924), the only other species in the genus, prompted a description of this new species.
