Abstract
Abstract We describe a new method for the simulation of synchrotron radiation in particle tracking codes like DIMAD [1] where this was installed. It imitates the quantum process of the emission through the computation of the number of photons to be emitted and the energy of each of these photons. We review some attempts of basing this simulation on a simple function evaluation and describe the final scheme that reproduces the spectrum of the synchrotron radiation process.
