Abstract

The infrared-infrared double resonance signals observed in the Stark spectrum of PH 3 for the 10.6 μm CO 2 P(18) laser line were accurately measured. Their resonant electric fields, 2965.556±0.03 and 2972.408±0.03 V/mm, as calibrated against the LMDR signal of OCS, may be used as excellent standards for the electric field calibration in CO 2 laser Stark spectroscopy.
