Abstract
A new rare earth coordination polymer, [Er2(PZDC)3(H2O)4]n· 5nH2O (1) (H2PZDC = pyrazine -2,6-dicarboxylic acid) has been solvothermally synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analyses, IR spectra and TG analysis. Single crystal X-ray diffraction shows that the complex has a 2D metal-organic framework that contains double-stranded molecular braid structure. Furthermore, the 2D MOFs are assembled into 3D supramolecular network via various hydrogen bonds interactions.
