Abstract
Management service composition is regarded as one of the fundamental issues in service computing. Given the open and dynamic internet environment, which lacks a central control of individual service providers, this paper proposes a novel integrating adaptive cuckoo search algorithm, which extends the primitive cuckoo search through adding three new features. a balancing of the exploration search strategies inside the cuckoo search algorithm, an adaption of cuckoo search control parameters and linear population reduction. The algorithm was tested to giving promising results comparable to the algorithms, like the differential evolution (DE) and some powerful variants of modified cuckoo search(i.e. MOCS) and self-adaptive differential evolution(i.e. jDE). The performance of our proposed approach also significantly outperforms other competitive methods.
