Abstract
This short note presents a new control design which attenuates external disturbances and improves control performance of the controller for Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems. Many papers on control design for Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems have been discussed from a point of Lyapunov’s stability theory in the literature. In this note, we introduce a Lyapunov function having an integral function of the membership function for a mixed problem that combines the guaranteed cost control and the H∞ control, and propose an algorithm to reduce the upper bound of the cost function. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. Our method improves control performance better than the previous work.
