Abstract

The problem of measurement of temperature rises in calorimetric measurements of r f. power is stated, with some of the disadvantages of the existing methods. The early stages of development of a differential thermometer to enable the temperature rise to be measured directly are outlined and a description given of the instrument finally developed, together with a statement of its performance.
