Abstract

Abstract A composite micro/meso porous material possessing well-ordered hexagonal structure, uniform pore size, strong acidity and high hydrothermal stability has been examined. Compared to the catalysts using zeolite Y, USY, MSU-SFAU as supports, the Pd-Pt catalyst in this work shows high activity for the hydrogenation of naphthalene in the absence and presence of 4,6-dimethyldibenzothohene, and also high activity for pyrene hydrogenation.
