Abstract

Abstract This paper presents the theory and design equations of ft new class of RC null circuits that are tunable over a wide frequency range by a single two-terminal element. All of those circuits have a common ground connection between input and output. In contrast to previous methods which seek on exact null condition, the root locus methods presented here load to approximate nulls, although the approximation can be made arbitrarily accurate. This different point of view may lead to still more circuits with desirable characteristics.
