Abstract

The solution procedure developed in Part I (S.-C. Chang and J. J. Adamczyj, J. Comput. Phys. 59 (1985), 000-000) is discretized and used to obtain inviscid solutions for subsonic flows in a 180° turning channel. It is shown that the current algorithm can accurately predict the behavior of weak secondary flows and is capable of generating solutions for strong secondary flows. Moreover, it is shown that acceptable flow solutions may be contained after only 10–20 outer looop interactions.
