Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to establish a necessary optimality condition for a certain class of nondifferentiable extremum problems. The analysis is developed via image-space approach and the result generalizes, in finite-dimensional spaces, the classical results concerning locally Lipschitz mathematical programming.
