Abstract

Various methods for treating long bone fractures present promising therapeutic possibilities. In the case presented, particular emphasis was placed on the significant effectiveness of local antibiotic administration combined with bone autografts. The complexity of the injury in 23-year-old patient with multifragmentation of the femur, compounded by infection, necessitated a multistage treatment approach.
