Abstract
The object of this work is to measure glucose transport and metabolism in the human myocardium using a. distributed parameter model accounting for convection, transport in and out of interstitial fluid and the parenchymal cell, and blood flow heterogeneity. Parameter estimates have been obtained in three different experimental conditions. Preliminary results are shown.
