Abstract

The Augsburg STructure-ORiented computer architecture ASTOR has been developed to combine parallel processing facilities on several levels with modern concepts of programming like modularization, information hiding, abstract data types and self-describing data. Together with the architecture a suitable assembly language has been developed. This paper describes the main features of the assembly language and their implementation in the ASTOR architecture.
