Abstract
When time-delay characteristic is considered in wind power frequency modulation, the order of the system model is high, so it is difficult to solve it directly analytically, and the numerical method cannot analyze and consider the influence mechanism of delay on the system frequency. Therefore, in order to realize the dynamic analysis of the system frequency considering the time-delay characteristics, it is necessary to reduce the order of the high-order system model, and then solve the reduced order model analytically. Therefore, this paper presents a model order reduction selection method considering the delay characteristics of wind power frequency modulation. Firstly, the principle and application of model order reduction methods commonly used in many control fields are introduced. Furthermore, taking the system frequency nadir as the index, the error between the frequency nadir of the reduced order model and the frequency nadir of the higher order model is obtained when each order reduction method is used. Based on the principle of the minimum error, the method selection of the higher order model is realized. Finally, the simulation verifies the correctness of the proposed method.
