Abstract

For the characteristics of 5G antenna with high gain and high broadband, this paper designs a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) antenna applied to marine 5G communication system, the antenna uses a dual-polarized antenna fed by the central copper axis, and radiates with a patch unit instead of a dipole unit, the antenna unit can work in the 2.251GHz to 2. 675GHz after generating MIMO array. After testing, the return loss (Return Loss) of the antenna is less than -10dB and the insertion loss (Insertion Loss) is less than -15dB in the operating band, and the voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of the antenna is less than 2, and the maximum gain of 11. 83dBi is obtained at 2. 60GHz. The antenna has excellent performance and fully meets its design requirements for communication in 5G band, with high gain and high directionality, and the structure is simple, easy to process and convenient for mass production.
