Abstract
ABSTRACT A simple microcomputer-based triggering circuit for a triac AC voltage controller is described. The hardware-oriented design makes use of commonly available CMOS digital ICs to convert the digital output from a microcomputer to an equivalent firing delay angle synchronized with the AC mains.
