Abstract
AbstractThis paper discusses the method for controls, signal transmission and processing of the proposed integrated electronic system for vehicles. It is shown that the data transmission within a vehicle can be simplified by utilizing the properties of the signals in vehicles, and a memory structure is presented for the communication and control units of the system. The software is also discussed, indicating that the errors during transmission can be corrected automatically. Finally, the message collision rate during transmission is shown to be proportional to the message occurrence rate in the system, and the proportional constant is determined. It is shown also that the data transmission delay can be ignored for the low‐speed controls; and, however, the data used for the high‐speed controls should be transmitted without the transmission ring.
