Abstract
This paper describes a special technique developed to determine the kinetic rate constants for a certain type of enzyme mechanism. It is demonstrated that one of the desired rate constants has a linear dependence on the Michealis constant. By varying the initial conditions of the enzyme reaction, the slope of this linear dependence can be varied. With this information one obtains a family of lines whose intersection point is the correct rate constant and Michealis constant. A discussion of some of the errors is also considered.
