Abstract

A 54-year-old man presented with somewhat itchy scaly red lesions on the bilateral surfaces of his lower legs that had been present for 12 years. The physical examination revealed multiple 1- to 3-mm erythematous macules and multiple 1- to 5-mm hyperpigmented macules diffusely distributed on lower anterior and midposterior surfaces of his legs (Fig 1). A biopsy specimen was obtained (Fig 2).
