Abstract

Pizoelectric flexible magnetic field sensors have recently attracted much attention due to their high sensitivity and fast response time. A clear sensing mechanism will effectively improve the performance of such sensors. Here, we report a BaTiO3-Fe-Ga & PDMS flexible magnetic sensor. The magnetostrictive and magnetic field detection performance of the sensor is simulated by the finite element software. The simulated results show that magnetic field detection can be achieved through magnetostrictive and piezoelectric effects. The flexible magnetic sensor is prepared and tested based on the simulation results. The distribution of the material in the composite film is demonstrated by SEM and EDS. The results show that the sensor with the BaTiO3 concentration of 20% has the best performance and the sensitivity of 3.4 V/T.
