Abstract
By linear arrangement of four magneto-electric dipole antennas, a high gain magneto-electric dipole antenna linear array with wide bandwidth is presented, especially for the new unlicensed frequency band. Through the reasonable arrangement of multiple antennas, the gain of the antenna array is significantly improved. The proposed antenna has low profile to be easily integrated. The proposed antenna achieves a simulated impedance bandwidth of 53.8% covering 44.4 GHz to 77.1 GHz. It includes the new unlicensed frequency band (57 - 71 GHz) totally. The maximum gain in the Z-direction is up to 16.01 dBi. The proposed antenna has the advantages of high gain, wide bandwidth and low profile.
