Abstract
The extinction of animals is a topic that worries many specialists because the fauna is an element of paramount importance for the survival and maintenance of our planet. Human beings are the main responsible for the loss of biodiversity, causing fires, destroying forests and practicing predatory hunting of countless species in order to use body parts to produce consumergoods. Knowing this problem, this article brings data and describes steps in the creation of a strategy game that aims to raise awareness and expose some species that suffer, or havesuffered, with extinction. The project is based on the design methods seen in Project Methodology, from the Product Design course at UFSC. The result of this study was the development of a card game for young adults, which can be played in pairs and teaches about some harmed species around the world.
