Abstract
The Journal of Lipid Research is about to undergo two significant changes that we wanted to make you aware of. As you know, the current Editors-in-Chief, Ed Dennis and Bill Smith, are stepping down at the end of 2018 and leadership of the journal will be transitioning to the new Editors-in-Chief, Kerry-Anne Rye and Nick Davidson in early 2019. Bill has graciously agreed to assist with this transition over the next three months. In addition, the Journal will be following in the footsteps of other ASBMB journals and moving to a new manuscript submission system (eJournal Press), which is anticipated to go live on March 1, 2019. Detailed instructions for submissions will be posted to the JLR website in the coming weeks, prior to the go-live date. This transition will not affect manuscript submissions or the review process and we expect that both authors and reviewers will benefit from the new features offered by eJournal Press Thank you for your support of the Journal and we look forward to working with you all.
