Abstract
The single-carrier frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) is employed in the 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE) and LTE-Advanced as the uplink multiple access scheme. In this paper, we propose a novel lattice reduction aided (LRA) detector in frequency domain for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) SC-FDMA system, which can achieve more diversity than the traditional linear frequency-domain equalizer. On the other hand, the computation complexity can be reduced by decreasing the dimension of the matrix executing LR operation and exploring the correlation between channel matrixes in adjacent tones. Simulation results show that LRA detector has the significant performance advantage comparing with the traditional linear equalizer when channel has LOS path, especially for the system with more antennas.
