A lattice method for the orthogonalisation of the solution of systems of simultaneous linear algebraic equations with a large number of unknowns

Abstract

An orthogonalisation method is given for solving systems of linear algebraic equations with a large number of unknowns, and for inverting matrices of a high order. The approach is that of the computer user, who wishes to make the most economic use of magnetic tape storage.
