Abstract
This is the second part of a two-part article detailing how Northeastern State University migrated from ILLiad to Tipasa in 2019. This article will detail the actual migration process and the challenges involved as well as the acclimation afterwards and lessons learned. While the transition itself was not without hurdles, the department was able to navigate the transition relatively smoothly due to preparation, communication, and excellent leadership. Finally, the authors will compare usage statistics from previous academic semesters to assess patron use of the new system. The authors have also included results from a short patron experience survey from January 2020 assessing patron perspectives with Tipasa and ILLiad, comparing the two when possible.
