Abstract
This work brings a report on the teaching experience of African literature in Portuguese language, at the Federal University of Tocantins, held in conjunction with an interdisciplinary extension project, developed in three stages, together with elementary and high school teachers of Tocantins.

Algum tempo depois (2009), foi idealizado um projeto de extensão, integrado o às atividades de ensino dessa literatura, que resultou na ampliação de redes de reflexões em torno da história e cultura da África, em todos os níveis de ensino formal, concentrado na cidade de Araguaína e em seu entorno
Summary
