Abstract
Objective: To report the benefits of the humanized care provided by the nursing staff to transgender people in health services. Method: This is an integrative literature review, carried out and consulted in the following electronic databases: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO); VHL; Academic Google. Results: In view of the review of the selected articles, it was understood that there are still several discriminations against trans patients when they are received in health services by the nursing team. Conclusion: Trans people have many specific demands that need to be respected and accepted by health professionals, more precisely the nursing team, given that it is necessary for nursing to have a breach of the standardized and heteronormative view that professionals have.
