Abstract

The operating principle and the design of a high-precision silicon temperature sensor are described. It is shown that the sensor is capable of operating at temperatures ranging from −20 to +125°C and that its sensitivity in this interval is 0.01°C or better. The sensor can find wide application in various fields of medicine and technology.
