Abstract
The current oil and gas business environment has impacted and created challenges in all facets of the industry. Offshore development may be slowed or even delayed, but technology development continues to move forward, with the determination to solve difficult problems with cost-efficient solutions. The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) is the preeminent technology-oriented, offshore conference, the technical strength of which stems from volunteer efforts represented by its 13 professional societies within the OTC partnership.
