Abstract
In salt rock stratum, tunnels are prone to damages such as corrosion cavity in base or inverted arch bulging and cracking. However, the conventional monitoring system cannot accurately characterize the deformation mechanism of the inverted arch in this stratum. Therefore, this paper innovatively proposes a multi-layer deformation intelligent monitoring system for inverted arch of salt rock tunnel, which combines laser level deformation monitor and weak fiber Bragg grating, to monitor comprehensively the filling and internal deformation of tunnel inverted arch. At the same time, an early warning and feedback system is established through wireless transmission to ensure construction safety. By exploring the deformation characteristics and damage mechanism of tunnel base and inverted arch in strata with different salt contents, the relationship between the surrounding rock properties and structural stability is established, verified by the geological radar results. The monitoring system and feedback system have been successfully applied in the salt rock tunnel of China-Laos Railway.
