Abstract

Bipolar Disorder (BD) confers a high risk for suicidal behavior. Most studies have used a priori regions or seed-based measures to elucidate the neurobiological substrates of suicide behaviors in BD, which may miss important hubs of dysfunction relevant to suicide behaviors and their prevention. Here, a voxel-wise graph-theoretical connectome measure, the intrinsic connectivity distribution (ICD) was used to map whole-brain functional disturbances associated with suicide attempts in BD.
