Abstract

Business analytics worldwide utilize cutting-edge technologies to take advantage of data, provide business value, and successfully compete in a world driven by technology. Data analytics are used to speed up the time to insight and improve knowledge of consumers' demands and desires. However, the use of big data analytics in higher education is a recent development. This study incorporates the research on big data adoption and offers a framework for measuring the sustainable performance of Higher Learning Institutions. Data will be collected from the academic staff of 7 universities in various regions of Malaysia. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) will be used for data analysis. The study explores some of the key success factors of big data adoption and their impact on its successful implementation, emphasizing sustainable institutional performance. The mediating role of big data adoption between the factors and sustainable institutional performance will also be examined.
