Abstract
This article reports the frame work on metal/composite crown restoration, materials and design considerations of crown and different conventional and latest crown fabrication techniques (assisted with 3D thermoplastic and metal printing) for prosthetic dentistry in veterinary patients. The steps for preparation of crown for canine teeth (with 3D printing by using stainless steel (SS) 316L powder and other conventional investment casting (IC) methods) have been outlined. This work also demonstrates clinical and histological advantages with respect to standard denture fixing procedures and classical denture geometry.
