Abstract
Why hurt the one you most love? The topic of male violence in relationships has long intrigued me. On the surface unthinkable and yet everywhere evident, cutting across all lines of class, culture and ethnicity. This would not be an attempt to answer the why of it but rather to tell a story that would allow us to recognize some aspect of ourselves, our families, our friends in this violent behavior. To see and feel the world and know that a part of us could, in the wrong circumstances, live there.
