Abstract
In this paper, a family of single-phase direct-link uninterruptible power supply (DLUPS) is proposed to achieve sinusoidal input current waveforms, unity power factors without current sensors and conduct single-stage voltage conversion in normal, backup and charging modes. The design considerations concerning the determination of the power circuit elements are also given for reference. Finally, some examples of simulated and experimental results are presented.
