Abstract
In this paper, a new single-phase to three-phase converter is proposed to provide variable-output voltage and variable-frequency three-phase power. This topology employs fewer semiconductor switches and generates high quality input and output currents. Also, the input power factor can be made unity without using any current sensor. Analysis, simulation and some experimental results are also presented in this paper.
