Abstract
In this paper, an SICL-based diplexer operated at 7.2 GHz and 10.8 GHz is proposed. It has a simple structure, high isolation, and low insertion loss. And then, a dual-frequency antenna is designed with the proposed diplexer. The elements of SICL-based slot antenna and monopole antenna are used in the design of the antenna. The -10-dB impedance bandwidths are 7.10-7.26 GHz and 9.78-11.48 GHz, and the peak gains corresponding to the center frequency of 7.2 and 10.8 GHz are 5.1 and 6.0 dBi, respectively. The simulated results demonstrate the advantages of SICL technology in the design of low insertion loss and high isolation diplexer.
